Mutual Benefits Assurance Promises Policyholders Affordable Insurance Coverage

Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc has promised to continue to offer affordable insurance policies to its policyholders across the country and beyond.

The chairman of Mutual Benefits Assurance group, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, while speaking at the 28th annual thanksgiving ceremony of the company in Oregun, Lagos, noted that, customers should know that ‘we provide value options at different premium levels to enable you choose the most appealing and affordable.’

He added that, “For instance, for vehicle insurance, we have different premium levels for the third party, the third party-plus and of course, the comprehensive insurance policy. We have differentiating offerings in each category and therefore fix premiums that will resonate with each segment.”

Mutual Benefits’ customers, he said, are very important partners and that, from time to time, the insurer even absorb some costs on packages with appreciable discounted anchor prices.

“Our company has been distinguishing itself with services that are of immense beneficial value and that was why we were deservedly adjudged Africa’s Most Innovative Company by the African Reinsurance Corporation. We will always be upfront in doing our best and transparently communicating the intrinsic and extrinsic values of our offerings ,” he promised.

Explaining reasons for the Thanksgiving Service, which the company has consistently done done for the last 28 years, he said, the company’s stakeholders, decided to thank God as 2023 was indeed pivotal in the history of the organisation, saying, ‘With the help of the Almighty God, we scaled over formidable hurdles; and mighty obstacles, but the One who epitomises ultimate power helped us. We have rebounded.’

Earlier, the managing director/CEO, Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc, Olufemi Asenuga, said the annual thanksgiving is observed to appreciate God for His good gestures on the firm, stating that, in spite the economic challenges, the firm had a good performance in 2023, attributing the success to God.

Meanwhile, the general overseer, Foursquare Gospel Church, Rev. Sam Aboyemi, who was the guest minister at the event, appreciated God for keeping the company for 28 years, stating that the firm has done well in observing annual thanksgivings and that thanksgiving is the key to success.

At the event, guests were served with thanksgiving songs by the Mutual Benefits choir and the guests all danced, rejoiced and gave glory to God for His hand and protection over their respective lives.
