Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman has clinched Atalanta’s Goal of the Month award for October with a stunning first-time finish against AC Milan.
The strike, a thunderous shot into the roof of the net, secured a 1-1 draw for La Dea in a thrilling contest at the Gewiss Stadium.
The 28-year-old’s emphatic 35th-minute equaliser was not only crucial in the match but also marked his first goal of the current campaign.
The award was decided by fan votes, with Lookman’s effort commanding a dominant 53% of the poll, far ahead of his closest competitors, Marco Brescianini (20%) and Dominic Vavassori (19%).
Lookman has made seven appearances for Atalanta this season.
