Afrobeats artiste, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has disclosed that his father, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, continues to provide financial support to him and his siblings.

Speaking in a recent interview, the Afrobeats singer noted that the billionaire businessman often rewards his children financially whenever he is impressed by their professional achievements.

The singer disclosed that his father gifted him $300,000 following a successful performance at a major arena, an event the elder Adeleke attended.

“I’d be lying to you if I told you that my dad still doesn’t give his kids money,” Davido stated.

He further recounted that after the show, his father called to congratulate him, then wired the funds as a gesture of appreciation for the performance.
