The organisers of the My Tasty Naija Food Festival have announced the return of the event for its second edition in the United Kingdom, expanding its operations to include Manchester alongside London.
The initiative, which focuses on promoting Nigerian cuisine and cultural heritage within the diaspora, is scheduled to hold the London edition on Saturday, July 5, 2026, at the Eutopia Warehouse, while the Manchester edition will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Nigerian House Manchester.
The convener of the festival, Abass Tijani, stated that the expansion aims to increase the reach of Nigerian culinary exhibitions across various cities globally.
“Our show features Nigerian restaurants from London and across the UK. The goal is to take the festival experience to different cities each year and eventually to Nigeria and other parts of the world,” Tijani said.
The event is projected to attract approximately 3,000 attendees in London and 1,500 in Manchester, featuring cultural showcases, networking platforms, and youth culinary competitions.
