The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) under the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI has destroyed terrorists’ structures and killed scores of them during airstrikes at Guduf in the Mandara Mountains in the North-East.

A statement by the NAF Spokesman, Air Cdre Ehimen Ejodame, said the airstrikes were conducted on Monday, April 27, 2026, following credible intelligence and prior confirmatory Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR).

He said the NAF, acting on the above, deployed air assets, which executed a coordinated operation that identified multiple terrorist structures and logistics hubs actively supporting insurgent activities within the area.

He said the NAF, employing precision targeting and strict adherence to rules of engagement, engaged and neutralised hostile elements and their infrastructure with lethal accuracy, while maintaining due regard for the protection of civilians and the surrounding environment.

“The strike resulted in the destruction of key terrorist structures and logistics hubs, significantly degrading their operational capability and reinforcing the NAF’s relentless posture in denying adversaries freedom of action and safeguarding national security,” the NAF spokesman stated.
