NANS Ex-President, Asefon, Hails Appointment Of UI Student In Presidential C’ttee

The immediate past president National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) and

National Coordinator Tinubu Shettima Students Vanguard, Sunday Asefon has hailed the appointment of the student of University of Ibadan, Miss Orire into Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reform by president Ahmed Bola Tinubu.

In a statement yesterday, Asefon said her appointment is a
practical demonstration of renewed commitment to youth inclusion in Tinubu’s government.

“The good news of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR inauguration of Miss Orire Agbaje, a 400 level Economics student of the University of Ibadan who is the President of the Nigerian Universities Tax Club as along side other experts and financial guru as member of Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, this remain a significant move and first of it kind in the history of Nigeria having practical young person in such a powerful presidential committee.

“This uncommon gesture of President Tinubu marks practical demonstration beyond rhetorics of youth inclusion in governance.
