Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, has intervened in the conflict between some members of Gunduma community in Karu local government area and an investment company, G-Complex Nig. Ltd.

When he visited the area, the speaker said the conflict was uncalled for, adding that the company needed the cooperation of the community to effectively carry out its social responsibilities.

He said the company had done well for employing and empowering youths and others as well as helping to develop the community.

“I received a report from the member representing Uke/Karshi constituency, Hon. Musa Saidu Gude, on the misunderstanding between some members of Gunduma community and the developer, G- Complex Nigeria Limited.

“I have met with the village head, community leaders, youths and other people of the community. As advocates of peace, what we want is peace as Governor Abdullahi Sule is a man of peace.

“I am here to preach peace as peace is paramount and we don’t want any conflict in this community for development to thrive,” he said.
