Netizen Speaks On Viral Video Of Pastor Daysman Oyakhilome’ Healing Session Of Hon. Onobun

A Nigerian man on social media has sparked reactions online after speaking out in support of Pastor Daysman Oyakhilome, son of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, following a viral video showing the reported healing of Hon. Marcus Onobun.

The video, which has been making rounds on social media, shows the moment the lawmaker—who was previously involved in a serious accident—appeared to regain mobility during a church program. While many have celebrated the moment as miraculous, others have questioned its authenticity, with some critics asking that similar acts be replicated in hospitals.

Reacting to the wave of skepticism, the man—who based his comments on the viral clip—defended the preacher and addressed doubters.

“I saw the healing take place in the viral video,” he said. “I saw a man who had an accident walk again, yet people were still in the comments saying ‘let him go to the hospital and do the same.’”

He went on to stress that faith plays a central role in experiencing miracles, noting that disbelief can hinder spiritual outcomes.

“We are in a world where many people don’t believe in the miraculous anymore. But how it works is that you have to believe first. If you don’t believe, you cannot receive,” he added.

Referencing a biblical example, he explained that doubt can disrupt faith.

“The moment you believe, it becomes possible by the power of the Holy Spirit. But when you begin to doubt, you begin to sink,” he said.

He also cautioned against dismissing spiritual experiences too quickly, urging people to be mindful of their reactions online.

“Not everything is fake. If you keep saying ‘fake, fake,’ you might miss out on real miracles. It’s better not to judge what you don’t understand,” he concluded.

The video has continued to generate mixed reactions online, with supporters backing his stance and critics maintaining their doubts as conversations around faith, miracles, and public perception trend online.
