News Central TV Appoints Akintemi As New MD

International news channel, News Central, has appointed Mr Kayode Akintemi, as its managing director to spearhead the channel’s next stage of expansion and innovation.

A statement by the company stated that Akintemi in his role as managing director, will oversee the channel’s operations, strategic direction, and content development.

His objectives include improving the calibre of reporting and rekindling viewers’ interest, growing digital presence, and encouraging excellent work culture, as a reflection of a strong vision for the News Central brand.

In a media landscape that is always changing, Akintemi with a wealth of expertise and a track record of driving successes, is well-placed to lead News Central to new heights.

Reacting to his appointment, Akintemi expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “I am honoured to join the News Central team. I look forward to working closely with our dedicated journalists and staff to deliver news and content that informs, engages, and empowers our audience.”
