NFF Chieftains Visit Recuperating Coach Kadiri Ikhana in Hospital

Dr Mohammed Sanusi, General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), yesterday paid a visit to esteemed Coach Kadiri Ikhana, who is currently recuperating at the Nizamiye Hospital in Abuja.

Coach Ikhana, a legendary figure in Nigerian football and former Head Coach of the Super Falcons, is receiving treatment as he recovers from health issues.

Accompanying Dr Sanusi on this significant visit was Coach Abdulrafiu Yusuf, another celebrated figure in Nigerian football and the current Assistant Director (Technical) of the NFF. The duo conveyed their best wishes to Coach Ikhana, reflecting on his immense contributions to the sport and his lasting legacy in developing women’s football in Nigeria.

The visit underscores the NFF’s commitment to supporting its former coaches and legends, acknowledging their influence in shaping the future of football in the country. Coach Ikhana, a pivotal figure in Nigerian women’s football, was noted for his dedication and achievements throughout his coaching career.
