Former president of the National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Mrs Moji Makanjuola has described the emergence of Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as the chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) as a good omen for Nigerian women and youths.
Makanjuola expressed confidence in the ability of AbdulRazaq to move the forum to greater heights.
She said the NGF under AbdulRazaq will ensure the promotion of gender equality as he was doing in his state.
Makanjuola added that AbdulRazaq’s emergence was a great win for women and youths, describing him as a supporter and promoter of women and youth inclusiveness in governance.
“Your antecedent in attending to issues relating to both women and youths in the last four years as Governor of Kwara State has clearly shown that you are a great supporter and promoter of women and youth inclusiveness in governance in our dear country.
“With your emergence, Your Excellency, our women and youths can be reassured of inclusive governance knowing fully well that an advocate and long-standing promoter of their cause is leading the governors of Nigeria, which translates into better deals,” she stated.
