NGO Opens Scholarship Application For Nigerian Youths

A non-governmental organisation, i-Scholar initiative has opened application to help young Nigerians with the payment of standardised test fees for various international post-graduate studies programmes.

A statement by the VP, Operations, Hanatu Banjoko, said that the scholarship will provide for the payment of standardised test fees, pre-determined number of graduate school application fees, provide an end-to-end mentorship where scholars are assigned to mentors and expose them to professional networking opportunities.

According to the organisation, “i-Scholar Initiative is a non-profit organisation that seeks to mentor and empower young African students in fulfilling their dreams to pursue graduate studies via access to fully funded scholarships in world-class foreign universities by leveraging the networks of partnering members.

“Since its inception in 2019, the organisation has offered scholarships and unparalleled mentorship to scores of Nigerians, many of whom are studying in various international graduate schools today.”

The application which opened on Monday, January 8th will close on Thursday, February 8th.

To apply, candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Nigerian institution with Second Class Upper grade or higher, must be ready to take the standardised tests latest by August 2024 and must be ready to apply for admission in the 2024/2025 application window.
