Niger State governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has advocated for collaborative efforts between government, parents and religious bodies to restore family values.
The governor made the call when he attended the 44th anniversary of Living Faith Church Worldwide, at its Minna Headquarters auditorium, Gbaiko.
He decried how people have lost family values, leading to intolerance and many other vices which have negatively impacted on the society.
The governor, while congratulating the Living Faith Church Worldwide for attaining 44 years, promised to continue to support the Church and Christendom.
He encouraged the Church to key into his agricultural agenda by owning a farm and to continue to pray for his administration as it desires to serve the people to ensure a New Niger is achieved.
The governor then announced a donation of N50 million to the church, and promised to construct a road network within the Church premises.
The Resident Pastor of Living Faith Minna, Pastor Anso John Dominion appreciated the governor for attending the 44th anniversary of Living Faith Church Worldwide.
He applauded the doggedness of the Bago-led administration in the realisation of the New Niger agenda, especially through massive infrastructural and agricultural development across the state.
The resident pastor assured the governor of the Church’s continuous prayer for him to complete all the projects initiated which he said are capable of transforming lives and livelihoods in the state.
