In a statement by the chief press secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the governor expressed appreciation and gratitude to all state citizens for their continued understanding of his administration.

He lauded the deputy governor “For the active, passionate and resilient manner by which he steered the ship of leadership as the acting governor.”

Governor Bago further applauded members of the State Executive Council, the leadership, the legislature, the judiciary, traditional and religious leaders, and the heads of security agencies in the state for their overwhelming support and contributions.

He said the leave period has afforded him the opportunity to reflect and evaluate the impact of his administration’s policies and programmes with the view to improving them for better service delivery to the people.

He also commended the media organisations and all practicing journalists in the State for their role in promoting the growth and development of Niger State.
