Experts have urged Nigerian engineers to leverage technology in creating innovative solutions that will give the country incredible economic growth.

Speaking at the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) Abuja branch general meeting with the topic: “Leading effectively in the era of uncertainty” held at the NSE’s headquarters, Abuja, an innovation strategy consultant, Dr Akin Oke, said innovation allows organisations to stay relevant in the competitive market and also plays an important role in economic growth.

He said the ability to resolve critical problems depends on new innovations and especially developing countries need it more than ever but countries like Nigeria loses on that because we do not apply such innovations.
