Nigerian Volleyball Federation Unveils New Coaches

The Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) has named new coaches for its senior, youth, and beach volleyball teams in a push to boost the sport’s technical growth nationwide.

Following a rigorous screening process, appointments were made for the men’s and women’s senior sides, U-19 and U-17 boys and girls, plus the men’s and women’s beach volleyball squads.

Senior Men: Taiwo Oladipupo (Head Coach), Twevini Yohanna (Assistant I/Setters), Jonah Adamu (Assistant/Offensive Coordinator).

Senior Women: Elam Elishama (Head Coach), Segun Abinde (Assistant I/Offensive Coordinator), Sunday Yunana Akapson (Setters Trainer).

Age-grade teams: U-19 Boys: Adamu Nite (Head), Ayo Aboderin (Assistant I/Offensive Coordinator), Philip Stephen (Setters).U-19 Girls: Vincent Unogwu (Head), Bukola Faremi (Assistant I/Blocking & Defense), Chinyere Onuoha (Assistant II/Offensive Coordinator).

U-17 Girls: Sunday Yunana Akapson (Head), Jessica Egwuna (Offensive Coordinator), Kinsley Alika (Setters).U-17 Boys: Suleiman Ajeigbe (Head), Ibrahim Adamu (Assistant I/Offensive Coordinator), Osas Omoruyi (Assistant).

Beach volleyball: Kayode and Felicia Amos (women’s team); John Iwerima and Jonathan Thaj (men’s team).
