The Nationwide League One (NLO) has officially summoned MC Steve Football Club and Beautiful Tours Football Club following an astonishing 10–3 scoreline in their recent league encounter.
The match, which took place on Thursday at the Area 3 Stadium in Abuja, has raised serious concerns about possible match manipulation.
In an official statement, the NLO demanded that both clubs provide a substantive explanation and present supporting documents to prove that the outcome was not compromised.
The league body emphasised that such an irregular result threatens the credibility of the competition.
A thorough review of the match has been scheduled for Monday, 18 May 2026. Until then, no further disciplinary measures will be taken.
The NLO called on both clubs to uphold the integrity of the league and cooperate fully with the investigation.
