The chairman of the NNDC, Alh Lamis Shehu Dikko, stated this in Kaduna at the company‘s 56th Annual General Meeting.

He disclosed that the professionals were trained at the Kaduna, Kano, Ilorin, and Gombe centres, in collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

Dikko appreciated the Northern States Governors Forum (NSGF), led by Governor Inuwa Yahaya, for providing the general direction and recently appointing the board.

He also acknowledged the role played by the immediate past chairman of the Board, Alhaji Tanimu Yakubu, saying he reorganised the company‘s investment activities.
He promised that the new team would consolidate on the solid foundation laid and the achievements recorded by the past Board.

He remarked that the company recorded ₦794.64 million last year, a 33 per cent increase from ₦532.53 million.

The chairman commended the NNDC management and staff for their dedication and resilience in the face of economic challenges and urged them not to relent.
