National chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Dr. Ajuji Ahmed, has emphasised the importance of upholding the party’s fundamental principles and ideology.
Speaking at the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja, he praised the party’s progressive ideology and commitment to the well-being of citizens, stating that NNPP had the best manifesto among the country’s political parties. He acknowledged the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State and Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. and urged Nigerians to participate in the current voter registration.
Ahmed called for unity within the party and efficient deliberation on key issues such as constitutional amendment and mass mobilisation.
“The NEC meeting is deemed crucial in shaping our party’s future and ensuring its longevity in the political landscape. We call for continued dedication to the party’s vision of a prosperous Nigeria and reassure that the NNPP is committed to fulfilling the needs and aspirations of the people,” he said.
The national secretary, Chief Oladipo Olayokun, said the meeting aimed to review the party’s activities, celebrate successes, address shortcomings and strategise for the future.
He noted the party’s participation in the recent by-elections and preparations for the upcoming governorship election in Anambra State and the FCT council elections.
