The North-East Coordinator of the Tinubu Support Organisation, Hon Tijjani Musa Tumsah, has asserted that no political party can defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the North East region in the forthcoming general elections.

He told newsmen in Damaturu, Yobe State;  “Our chances in the North-east are very high indeed. We are strong in our resolve to win the 2023 general elections and we shall succeed.”

Tumsah noted that the  infrastructure built by the APC governors in the zone, especially in Yobe, Gombe and Borno states  was a testimony to their victory in 2023.

He added that there was the need for every party member across the zone to support the candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the new president of Nigeria in 2023.

Hon Tumsah promised to campaign ward to ward and house to house and organise a sensitisation programme on voters’ rights and powers.

He said North-East APC youths, women and members are committed to bringing in all their political arsenals to make sure APC emerges victorious in the general elections.

INEC Fully Prepared For Anambra Governorship Poll, Says Amupitan

“It does not matter that the PDP presidential candidate is from North-East. Nigeria is one and we are struggling to maintain it as a united and indivisible country, it doesn’t matter where they come from, what we need is the best for Nigeria.

“I assure you, for the North East to support APC in the 2023 election is a payback because APC has drastically improved the security situation in the region. People are no longer displaced but enjoying their resettlement to their various communities,” he said.
