Galatasaray president, Dursun Özbek has declared that Victor Osimhen won’t be forced to leave the club in January.

Osimhen linked up with the Yellow and Reds from Serie A club Napoli on loan in September.

There is a clause in the contract which allows the striker to move to another club in January.

The 25-year-old has recently been linked with a move to Manchester United.

Özbek however believed the NigerIan will remain at the club for the remainder of the campaign.

‘”He is our player this season. There is a very difficult clause for him to leave at mid-season. According to our agreement, he will play for us until the end of the season,” he told A Spor.

“No one should bend him. He will make his own decision at the end of the season. If he wants to continue at Galatasaray, he can.”

Meanwhile, Napoli are counting on getting cash from the permanent transfer of Victor Osimhen to finance their other transfer interests, according to reports.

Il Mattino reported that Napoli hope to rake at least 75 Million Euros from the sale of the striker and it is that cash that they will use to strengthen their squad with new signings.

Already it has been reported that Napoli coach Antonio Conte wants to sign a defender because he believes that main rivals like defending champions Inter Milan, Atalanta, Milan and Juventus have something more on their squads.

Napoli are currently top of the Serie A with 32 points from 14 matches, a point ahead of second-placed Atalanta.
