NOUN Professor Njidda Dies In Auto Crash On Abuja-Kaduna Expressway

The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Professor Ahmed Amin Njidda, has died.

Prof. Njidda died on Saturday evening following a ghastly motor accident, which occurred on the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway.

NOUN, which took to its Facebook page to announce the development, said the Don was at the University’s headquarters in Abuja on Friday.

“May the soul of the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, NOUN, Professor Ahmed A. Njidda, rest in peace, amen. He died in a ghastly road accident about an hour ago on the Abuja-Kaduna road. He was at the NOUN headquarters in Abuja yesterday,” NOUN wrote.

LEADERSHIP reports that Prof. Njidda was an animal nutritionist and biochemist. He was also a researcher in reproductive physiology and Animal Production and Management. He earned his Ph.D. Animal Science in 2011; M.Sc. Animal Productions Management in 2002, and B.Sc. Animal Science in 1995.
