Remo Stars are poised to make a highly anticipated return to their home ground in Ikenne for the second half of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season. The club’s spiritual home, the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, underwent extensive renovations at the start of the current campaign.

During the first round of the season, the Sky Blue Stars were forced to play their home fixtures at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta. However, the reigning NPFL champions are now set to welcome Ikorodu City to their refurbished stadium later this month.

Kunle Soname, the proprietor of Remo Stars, confirmed that the pitch renovations have been fully completed and have received official approval following a thorough inspection. This news will undoubtedly be welcomed by the club’s fervent supporters, who are eager to see their team compete on home turf once again. The clash against Ikorodu City marks a significant moment for the club as they aim to build on their strong league position in familiar surroundings.
