The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has provided a fresh update on its ongoing recruitment exercise, releasing candidates’ performance scores and reopening its official portal, bringing renewed clarity to applicants awaiting the next phase.

LEADERSHIP reports that following the conclusion of the online examination, many candidates had expressed concern over the lack of communication, as the recruitment portal became intermittently inaccessible. During this period, unverified information circulated widely, creating uncertainty among applicants. However, the latest development has now addressed those concerns, with verified data made available on the portal.

According to the newly published statistics on their portal, a total of 1,120,491 applications were successfully completed, while 432,935 were recorded as incomplete. Additionally, 360,923 applications were disqualified due to various issues identified during the screening process.

LEADERSHIP also discovered that the board also released a detailed breakdown of candidates’ performance in the examination. A total of 221,996 candidates scored between 0 and 40, while 229,155 candidates fell within the 41 to 60 range. Furthermore, 278,543 candidates scored between 61 and 80, 108,142 candidates scored between 81 and 90, and 34,555 candidates achieved scores between 91 and 100.
