The health outreach featured free blood pressure checks, HIV screening, and the distribution of essential medications to children, adults, and the elderly.

Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, the FCT Commandant of NSCDC, Dr. Olusola Odumosu, explained that the initiative was born out of the Corps’ recognition of the community’s challenges in accessing basic healthcare services. He noted that the collaboration with United Healthcare was designed to complement government efforts in enhancing the well-being of residents.

“As a grassroots security organisation, we are committed to promoting health, safety, and security. This outreach is our way of showing dedication to the welfare of the people and building stronger ties with the community we serve,” Odumosu said.

He also called on members of the Jahi community to support the Corps by providing reliable information on criminal activities, assuring them of confidentiality and swift action.
