Due to over 14 million housing deficit in Nigeria, Engr Komolafe added that government must prioritise housing projects and work with various agencies to enhance the progress of housing development and find solutions that can grow that sector.

He said, “We cannot just wait on the federal government alone to be responsible for filling the gap in the housing sector therefore the cooperative come together to begin a luxury housing project for the benefit of the employees and I think this project is very laudable in terms of the quality, the safety elements, and the commitment of the engineers on site to build housing project that meets up with the quality expectations of the development agencies”.

Also speaking, president of the cooperative, Engr Adetoyinbo Adeyemi explained that the estate was designed to suitably provide affordable, luxury and serene environment houses to meet the needs of the cooperative members.

Developer of the estate and chief executive officer of T’bilion Construction and Facility Management Company, Dr Torchukwuu Nnamoko said that the estate was designed to meet global contemporary standards to reduce the risk of hazards.
