The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in partnership with Zeenab Foods Limited and its subsidiary, the Nigerian Exporters Hub (NEXHUB), have embarked on a free training program across the 36 States of the country, including the FCT, at the 2023 Batch B Stream 1 NYSC Orientation camps on 18th July, 2023 . This training is to equip youth corps members with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective exportation of non-oil products from Nigeria.

The training promises to furnish Corps Members with useful information on what products to export, how to export, where to export, whom to export to and the profitability of the export sector, thereby encouraging Nigerian youths to venture into the non-oil export as an alternative means of earning foreign exchange and increasing their personal income.

Since its launch in November 2022, the program has recorded over 1.2 million trained Corps Members, which is in line with the mandate of the NYSC Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED), as it also aims to reduce the unemployment rate among young people and increase foreign exchange earnings for Nigeria.

Zeenab Foods Ltd and the Nigerian Exporters Hub intend to continue with this commitment to empower more youths and also plan to organize similar trainings in the future. By nurturing young talents and instilling a global perspective, they aim to create a new generation of exporters who will play a pivotal role in the country’s economic growth.
