Obemeata Bags Fellow Doctorate Award In Healthcare Finance

The Institute of Corporate Administrators of Nigeria (ICPAN) has conferred a prestigious Fellow Doctorate award on Mr. Aienloshan Omo Obemeata, a renowned expert in healthcare finance and public sector accounting.

The esteemed recognition acknowledges his outstanding contributions to corporate administration, public accounting, and institutional leadership.

With over 17 years of dedicated service in Nigeria’s public healthcare institutions, Mr. Obemeata has been a driving force behind modernising financial systems and implementing reforms. As Director of Finance and Accounts at the National Orthopaedic Hospital in Benin City, Edo State, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise.

Obemeata’s academic credentials include a Master’s degree in accounting from Wellspring University, where he emerged as the best graduating MSc student with a remarkable CGPA of 4.35.

He is also a Certified Member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Forensic and Fraud Examiners of Nigeria (CIFFEN).

The Fellow Doctorate award citation highlights Mr. Obemeata’s pioneering role in implementing the Federal Government’s IPPIS payroll reform and his contributions to fiscal transparency, organisational profitability, and timely financial reporting.

His leadership has also fostered unprecedented growth and accountability in the Drug Revolving Fund of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH).

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Obemeata is a devoted clergyman and community leader, serving as Parish Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and holding key roles in various cooperative societies and investment companies.
