He further commended all the security agencies in the state, acknowledging that they were working together in synergy, which led to the success being recorded in the state.

The distributed vehicles include 12 refurbished ones, 10 donated vehicles, and 27 motorcycles.

The governor urged the security agencies to use the vehicles for the purpose they were intended, saying, “Let it be used for the purpose it was created for.”

Executive Chairman, Kogi State Security Trust Fund, AVM Omeiza Umar (rtd), commended Governor Ododo’s visionary leadership and proactive approach to security management.

Umar said such has led to improved coordination and enhanced public confidence in the safety of lives and property.

“This is a practical demonstration of the governor’s unwavering commitment to ensuring that every corner of Kogi State remains secure,” he said.

He assured that the Trust Fund remained committed to mobilising resources and providing sustainable support for the operational needs of security agencies, adding that the newly established logistics hub will serve as a nerve centre for the Trust Fund’s operations.

The Chairman appealed to government, corporate bodies, and individuals to contribute generously toward the progress of the State Security Trust Fund, saying, “Together, we can build a stronger foundation for the safety and security of our state.”

He also commended the security agencies for their dedication and sacrifices, saying, “It is our collective duty to continue to support and motivate them.”
