Edo State governor, Monday Okpebholo, has appointed Ms Ivie Charles Idahosa as the general manager of the Edo State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA).
The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Musa Ikhilor, said the appointment takes immediate effect.
Ivie is the daughter of a one-time director of publicity and former special adviser to former Governor Adams Oshiomhole, Hon Charles Idaho.
She is a highly accomplished and results-oriented professional with a combination of international expertise and local passion.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics and Rural Development and two Master’s degrees, one in International Marketing Management from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen-Scotland and another in Data Analytics and Healthcare Services Management from Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey, USA.
She is a member of professional bodies both in the UK and USA such as the American College of Healthcare Executive (ACHE) and Project Management Professional (PMP).
Ivie, a native of Ehor in Uhunmwode local government area, was an aspirant in the last election for the House of Representatives, to represent the Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode Federal Constituency.
Until her appointment yesterday, Ivie Idahosa served as a principal manager at Cooper University Hospital, a renowned research hospital in New Jersey, USA.
