Olam Agri has been certified as a Top Employer 2026 in Nigeria by the Top Employers Institute, marking the sixth consecutive year the agribusiness company has received the recognition.

The company was also named a Top Employer across Africa for the sixth straight year, with certifications covering operations in Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Australia, the Netherlands and Switzerland. The recognition follows an independent assessment of Olam Agri’s people practices and workplace standards.

Top Employers Institute, a global authority in human resources certification and benchmarking, evaluates organisations through its HR Best Practices Survey across six areas, including people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, diversity, equity and inclusion, and employee wellbeing.

Senior Vice President and Regional Head of Human Resources at Olam Agri, Jaideep Biswas, said the repeated certification reflects the company’s focus on building an engaged and high-performing workforce. “Our team is our greatest asset, and we continue to invest in programmes that promote excellence, shared learning and employee satisfaction,” he said.

Olam Agri Nigeria Country Head, Anil Nair, said the recognition aligns with the company’s broader goal of ensuring food security while fostering employee fulfilment. He noted that sustained positive employee sentiment and retention levels were driven by targeted human capital initiatives.

Commenting on the certification, Top Employers Institute Chief Executive Officer Adrian Seligman said Olam Agri’s recognition demonstrates strong alignment between its people strategy and business objectives, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement in the workplace.

Olam Agri said it remains focused on promoting a culture of excellence, purpose-driven sustainability initiatives and global career opportunities for its workforce.
