Bayern Munich chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen has said Michael Olise is capable of becoming a Ballon d’Or winner, describing the French winger as an exceptional talent whose potential is not limited by individual awards.
Dreesen said Olise, 24, has already become an important creative force for Bayern since arriving at the club, and he believes the France international could one day compete for football’s top individual prize.
According to Dreesen, Olise’s chances would depend on him continuing to play within a strong, well-functioning team — something Bayern believes it provides and that Olise values.
Dreesen also addressed the winger’s future, saying Bayern want to keep him at the Allianz Arena for as long as possible and will discuss his long-term situation with him when the time is right.
