Ondo Govt Reopens Community School After 40 Years

The Ondo State government, led by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has ordered the reopening of the Secondary School in the Akure North area after 40 years since the school was shut.

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Community Engagement, Oluwafemi Fadairo, disclosed this during his visit to the palace of the Asinigbo of Isinigbo and Isinigbo, Oba Omotayo Adu in Akure North Local Government on Wednesday.

Fadairo said the government’s gesture was to facilitate children’s access to education regardless of their economic status.

While appreciating Governor Aiyedatiwa for being proactive and listening to the people’s demands, Fadairo assured the community that the Governor is very passionate about the welfare of the people, especially education.

He further assured them that Aiyedatiwa would construct more infrastructure in the school.
The palace spokesperson, Hon. Adeleye Oluwarotimi, appreciated the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Engagement Central, Hon Oluwafemi Fadairo, for his efforts in getting the Isinigbo primary school approved by the government.

Also, the Oba of Isinigbo, Oba Adu Omotayo, expressed gratitude to the Governor for reopening the community secondary school, which had been closed for 40 years.

The monarch, who also appreciated the Governor for fulfilling his promises to them through the SSA on Community Engagement (Central) office, prayed for the Governor for graceful continuity.
