Ondo Monarch Dies Few Months After Installation

The Olojoda of Oda kingdom in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State, Oba Julius Ajayi Adewumi Omomo, Okunbadejo II, has joined his ancestors.

The monarch passed on at the age of 83 years.

LEADERSHIP gathered that Oba Omomo who was installed on May 30, 2023, following the passing of his predecessor died after a brief illness.

Our correspondent reports that the few months reign of the late monarch witnessed development, especially peace within the local government area

A family member, Chief Prince Ade Adelakun who confirmed the death of the monarch to LEADERSHIP, described him as a humble, decent and down-to-earth monarch.
