Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala has called for the safe return of abducted schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State, delivering a powerful message after scoring for Nigeria in an international friendly against Senegal on Friday.

The former FC Barcelona FemenĆ star sent a strong appeal to government authorities and security agencies following her opening goal in the match played in Ikene.

After finding the back of the net, Oshoala displayed messages reading ā€œSave the Teachersā€ and ā€œBring Back Our Childrenā€, drawing attention to the plight of the victims and urging swift action to secure their release.

The 31-year-old forward accompanied her appeal with the hashtags #BringBackOurChildren and #SaveTheTeachers, using the moment to highlight concerns over insecurity and the safety of pupils and educators.
