Jigawa State governor, Malam Umar Namadi, has declared that their promise to deliver over one million votes to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 is irreversible and uncompromising.

The governor spoke with journalists after participating in the presidential primary election at his political ward in Kafin Hausa local government area.

Namadi noted that the high turnout of party members during the primary election was a clear testimony to the confidence and trust the people of Jigawa have in Tinubu.

“As you can see, the people have lined up en masses for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while nobody is on the side of his opponents. This is a testimony to how popular the President is in the minds of the people of Jigawa.”

“If you look at how the exercise is going on, you can believe me that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu embodies democracy and believes in internal democracy as pivotal for national democratic survival, peace, and progress of the country,” Governor Namadi stated.

The governor said the outcome of the presidential primary would also be enough to send a signal to opposition parties that the APC is on the path to clear victory at all levels in the forthcoming 2027 general election.

Governor Namadi then commended APC members and all good people of Jigawa State for displaying moral discipline and integrity during the exercise from its beginning to the end.

He urged them to also go back and strategize for the upcoming 2027 general election.
