Aregbesola, who paid a condolence visit to the church yesterday, described the incident as “extremely unfortunate, devastating, senseless and an attempt to ignite an ethnic war.”

The minister who declared that the government was tired of hearing stories of carnage, said the federal government would not be deterred in its efforts at ensuring adequate security of life and property of the citizenry, adding that it would rather move to address the myriads of security issues facing the country.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to tackle the monster of terrorism head on, assuring that the terror will not survive for much longer.

While promising that there will be no let-up in the on-going campaign to rid Nigeria of the menace of these terrorists, Aregbesola said, “Since they have no regard for the sanctity of life, so shall they be dealt with.”
