“We have come today to deliver on the mandate given to our agency to not only intervene in community development micro-projects in the areas of education, health, sanitation, water and erosion control, we are here to do the other part, which is to provide for the vulnerable people in our communities.

“This set of people include widows, people with special needs, the aged, among others. They were mostly affected by the last global economic downturn caused by Covid-19 that led to the NG-CARES programme and we have been using this psychosocial platform to reach out to them,” Adeaga said.

Also, OYCSDA’s General Manager, Mr Salau Jelili highlighted other areas the agency had intervened to make the lives of community dwellers become conducive which include construction of new or renovation of classrooms, culverts, community healthcare centers, provision of motorised boreholes and construction of public toilets in communities.

He added that Governor Makinde-led administration has succeeded in putting micro-projects in every local government in Oyo State according to the needs of each community.
