Residents were currently casting their votes peacefully at Polling Unit 014, Registration Area Achina 02 in Aguata local government area in the ongoing Anambra State governorship election.

Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were seen attending to voters and ensuring that the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) functioned properly.

The process has been described as peaceful, with voters patiently waiting their turn to cast their ballots.

Security operatives were also present at the polling unit to maintain order and ensure a hitch-free exercise.
