The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF) has appreciated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri over the inauguration of some key projects in Adamawa State.
The chairman of the forum, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, on behalf of all the members, said newly-completed Jimeta grade interchange in Yola, the capital and some projects were in tandem with the development drive of the PDP at all levels.
“The forum is elated at the honour of having our elder statesman, former president Olusegun Obasanjo, inaugurate this significant infrastructure,” he said.
Bala said the Adamawa Unity Bridge was aimed at improving transportation and connectivity within Yola, as well as serving as a vital link for commuters and enhances the overall urban infrastructure.
“The Forum applauds the governor’s infrastructure drive, and his commitment to further develop urban and semi-urban centres in the state to create a more aesthetically-pleasing environment and enhance the comfort and convenience of residents and investors.
“We wish the governor and his cabinet, as well as the good people of Adamawa State, at home and in the Diaspora, the unfolding of more dividends of good governance,” he added.
The PDP-GF also commended Vanguard Newspaper for conferment of award on the governor last week.
