PDP Govs Elect Bala Mohammed Chairman

Governors elected on the platform of the PDP have unanimously elected Bauchi State Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed as their chairman.

Bala succeeds former Sokoto State Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri announced the election after a meeting with the PDP governors in Bauchi yesterday.

He said the forum also elected Rivers State Governor Similaye Fubara as vice chairman.

Fintiri said the meeting which was attended by all stakeholders of the party, discussed ways to move the party forward especially regarding election-related legal suits pending in courts.
