PDP Hails Super Eagles Over 2:0 Victory Over Algeria, Praises Team’s Discipline, Tactics

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has congratulated the Super Eagles of Nigeria on their “impressive and confidence-boosting” 2:0 victory over Algeria, describing the performance as a reflection of the team’s determination and tactical brilliance.

In a statement signed by its National Chairman, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN, the party commended the Nigerian players for their composure, discipline, and technical finesse throughout the match.

“It was truly heart-warming to watch our national team soar with such authority and composure,” Turaki said. “From the blast of the opening whistle, the Super Eagles took firm control of the game, displaying remarkable tactical discipline, technical finesse, resilience, and stamina. The team left no doubt about its determination, cohesion, and capacity to compete at the highest level of African football.”

The PDP leader also lauded the coaching crew for what he described as “outstanding strategic depth and technical competence,” noting that their preparation and game management contributed significantly to the team’s commanding performance.

“Their preparation and game management translated into a commanding performance that reflects a promising future for Nigerian football,” he added.

Turaki extended heartfelt congratulations to the players, coaching crew, and Nigerians across the world who celebrated the win, expressing hope that the Super Eagles would sustain their momentum and go on to lift the continental trophy.

“We fervently pray that this renewed momentum carries the team all the way to lifting the coveted trophy, bringing joy to millions of Nigerians and helping to assuage the disappointment of our inability to secure a ticket to the Mundial,” he said.
