The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has appointed the General Overseer of Christian Central Chapel International (CCCI), Calabar, Cross River, Archbishop Emmah Gospel Isong as its National Vice President for the South South zone.
A letter dated March 27, 2025, signed by the PFN National President, Bishop Francis Wale Oke and sighted by our Correspondent, stated that Isong will oversee PFN executives in the six South South states of the zone.
“It gives me great pleasure to announce your appointment as National Vice President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, South South Zone,” Bishop Oke said in the appointment letter.
The letter listed the states as Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross River, charging the cleric to ensure that the zone keeps faith with the goals of the PFN.
Isong’s responsibility include overseeing, mobilising, executing and implementing the 8th National Executive Council’s Cardinal Agenda in the zone.
He is also saddled with the responsibility to pursue enhanced membership drive by attracting genuine passive Pentecostals within the zone.
He is also saddled with the task to supervise the conduct of appointments and or elections into states executive councils and State Advisory Councils.
Archisbishop Isong thanked Bishop Oke and the National Advisory Council as well as the National Executive Council for the honour done him, and promised to serve diligently.
Until his recent appointment, Isong was immediate-past National Publicity Secretary and spokesperson of the Christian body.
