Philanthropist Donates Land, Al-Noor Mosque, Building To Centre

The custodian of Al-Noor Mosque in Abuja and pioneer sole financier of the International Centre for Islamic Culture and Education (ICICE), Alhaji Aminu Baba-Kusa, has donated a portion of his land, about 3.2 hectares, comprising the Al-Noor Mosque’s expansion, school building and the proposed parking lot , to ICICE for the benefits of Muslim Ummah and humanity (Waqf).

The facilities are located on Ibrahim Babangida Way in Wuse ll, Abuja

Presenting the documents of the land to the chairman, ICICE Board of Trustee, Prof Ibrahim Sulaiman during the board meeting at the weekend, Baba Kusa expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for giving him the opportunity to be alive to fulfill his dream, saying he and his family decided to give the land (3.2 helter with the properties inside) to ICICE for the benefits of Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and beyond.

“I thank God for giving me the opportunity to be here today because I have been down. On behalf of family and myself,  we decided to give the half of this entire land to ICICE for the benefits of Muslim Ummah  Half of the land is about 3.2 helter, which includes the Mosque expansion, the school building, the parking lot and some other facilities which the Centre will decide what to do with it.
