It was a beautiful atmosphere and colourful experience at the Alliance Francaise,  Michael Adenuga Centre, Ikoyi in Lagos last week as an exhibition that fuses  arts, technology and spirituality was showcased.

The exhibition of 100 images was organised by RA Management and the Alliance Francaise. Aize Mohammed Paul, the exhibitor and the man at the center of it is an artistic director of repute whose new love in photography inspired the themed  ‘Flares of Enthusiasm Dash Between’ which defines the after life and activities of man on earth.

A retinue of guests from different works of life gathered at the night of introspection to view the images in both platforms explained in Bini language, “Eren Oghe Okhaza– Ekp Oghe ule Obaba meaning  a safe place to find a purpose for your story.

The physical and virtual art exhibition gave a surreal feeling with the VR having 10 virtual rooms, each room having some images on display. Indeed technology has enhanced arts seen at this exhibition by Aize Mohammed Paul who said, “It’s an exhibition about life and death meaning we all get to be born and get to die but if you truly live you need to conquer the fear of death. In all lessons it’s just like a life of intentionality as displayed by the arts.

“This show is trying to help everyone connect and find themselves. It expresses every form you will go through on earth while you are alive. It was a 100 images but we merged two images to become one which one shown at the very first exhibition.”

Aize noted that it took him three days to put all these together. His previous exhibition was in February 2022 in Kenya. The creative genius described the ethos of his art as self, a means to navigate one’s life purpose, with a mission to inspire individualism to creatively encourage humanism on a global scale.

The guests were awed by the images and the aesthetic feeling of the exhibition was commended as the virtual reality transported each viewer in a new world. For Aize whose first exhibition was in 2020, the world is set to see more from his creative bowels.
