Physiotherapist Urges Bauchi Residents To Prioritise Fitness, Combat Obesity

Coach Ibrahim Isiyaku, a renowned Bauchi based physiotherapist and fitness expert, has warned residents to maintain regular outdoor exercise to maintain their health and boost body immunity.

The physiotherapist emphasised the need to control obesity through a balanced diet and regular and daily exercises.

Coach Ibrahim who also led an invigorating aerobics sessions, stressed the importance of regular exercise for mental and physical well-being.

He urged Bauchi residents to dedicate at least 30 minutes daily to physical activity, warning that a sedentary lifestyle, especially on weekends, negatively impacts health.

“Walking at least 1,000 feet daily can significantly improve overall health,” he added.

He also encouraged residents to join local fitness clubs, citing options such as Yelwa Dynamics, Planets Physical Fitness Club, and Garu Aerobics, among others.
