PICTORIAL: Hoodlums Attack Oyo Commissioner, Vandalise Vehicles

Suspected hoodlums on Monday attacked Oyo State Commissioner of Environment, Mojeed Mogbanjubola while carrying out a clearing operation at Mobil, Ring Road area of Ibadan, the state’s capital.

LEADERSHIP gathered that the Commissioner alongside officials from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, were clearing the area of debris when they came under attack from the hoodlums.

Vehicles belonging to the state government were vandalised while some members of the commissioner’s team also sustained injuries during the attack.

There has not been official response by the state government on the attack.

The injured officials have been taken to hospital for treatment.
