PICTORIAL: Newly Crowned Alaafin Oyo Visits President Tinubu In Abuja

The newly installed 46th Alaafin of Oyo Kingdom, Oba Akeem Abimbola Owoade I, on Friday afternoon, visited President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Oba Owoade I, accompanied by wife, Olori Abiwumi Owoade, had earlier on Thursday arrived at Abuja from his Oyo Kingdom and was given a rousing welcome at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by his subjects in the nation’s capital city led by a member of the House of Representatives and a Prince of Oyo, Hon. Akeem Adeyemi, a.ka. Skimeh.

During the Friday meeting, President Tinubu was joined by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, and other senior government officials and aides, including Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris.

The Oyo monarch was accompanied by a delegation of some traditional rulers from Oyo State.
