PICTORIAL: NYCN, AYM Protest Over Insecurity, Demand Defence Minister’s Resignation

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) North West Zone and the Arewa Youth Movement (AYM) protested outside the National Assembly in Abuja, Nigeria, on Wednesday to demand the resignation of the Minister of Defence, Muhammadu Badaru.

The protesters said that security in the country has deteriorated under Badaru’s watch and that he is incompetent to handle the ministry. They called on President Bola Tinubu to either wake Badaru up from his slumber or accept his resignation.

The protesters also urged the National Assembly to look into Badaru’s performance and take the necessary action.
