The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on Wednesday, visited the immediate-past President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, at his Daura residence in Katsina State.

Oba Ogunwusi thereafter visited the 60th Emir of Daura, HRH Faruk Umar Faruk, at the latter’s palace in the company of former President Buhari.

No formal statement was issued about both visits regarding its motive from any of the sides.

However, one of former President Buhari’s media handlers, Buhari Sallau, took to his Facebook page to disclose the visits. “His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari Recieved Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi CFR, at his residence in Daura.
